The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to Nishiki Market. However, the room could have used more hooks for convenience.

the check-in was way more complex than it needed to be, I almost lost my patience. And don't even get me started on the shower. pink bacteria? ! disgusting. i expected to be pampered after that, maybe a complimentary upgrade for my troubles, but nope, just more irritation. so close to a good review, but it just woudl ve been unreasonable to ignore all this.

Immaculately clean rooms and modern design throughout.
The automated check-in was clunky and frustrating. I found myself waiting without anyone at the front desk to assist. Additionally, the bathroom was tiny, which made it uncomfortable during my stay, and I really missed having coffee pods available in the room for a morning pick-me-up.

The stay was enjoyable, especially because we were close to various temples like Kodai-ji and Kennin-ji, which made for convenient sightseeing. I really appreciated the spacious room layout, which allowed for more comfort while we were there. Access to nice restaurants and the ability to store our luggage conveniently made our visit more enjoyable, although we would have liked more hooks or shelves for our belongings. The clean and modern designs added to the overall pleasant experience.

Modern comfort in a prime location
I loved how clean and modern everything was during my stay! The amenities, like the self-service carts stocked with essentials and Netflix access, made my experience really enjoyable. Plus, I was just a short walk away from shops, restaurants, and beautiful sights. One downside was the lack of coffee pods in the room, which would have been a nice touch.

Location was spot on—just a hop to temples and Gion! Our room was super spacious, and I adored the clean, Nordic vibe. Plus, the dual air conditioners kept us cozy without overdoing it.
The bathroom was tighter than my Spanx, and I wish check-in wasn't a mini-riddle. I mean, come on, I don’t need a puzzle when I’m just trying to relax!

The location was perfect for exploring local sights, with easy access to various attractions. The staff were friendly and eager to help. I particularly enjoyed the well-stocked amenities cart on our floor, which made it easy to refresh towels whenever needed.
However, the bathroom space was slightly cramped, and having limited ventilation in the shower made it feel damp at times.
